I have to say that I didn't like trilogy and stopped reading at one point during the second book. The writing itself was done well, but I simply couldn't continue reading it.Milena, one of the characters is thrown into a world that she has no prior knowledge of. She is threatened and therefore scared. I understood her behavior at the beginning, but really hoped that she would start accepting reality and stop her selfish behavior at one point during the second book. But it continued on and I simply got very annoyed with it. I was probably close to half way through the second book when I stopped reading.
Overall I enjoyed the story and maybe I will get back to it at one point, because I would really like to know how it ends, but I am not sure I will.

Werelock Evolution The Complete Trilogy edition by Hettie Ivers Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
I really got into the characters and loved every one of them. The storylines were good. I do have questions that I hope to get answered in the following books. A new favorite author for me. Highly recommend this series!
I am always looking for a “Well Told Story”. This was slightly wordy and too detailed at times, but it was really a great story. I really liked the story line. I liked the characters. They kept my interest. I’m going to buy the next book in the series.
What an interesting take on this genre. I enjoyed all of these book. Some were obviously better than others but in general they were all great. The alpha males were somewhat dark but they eventually showed a better side. I would definitely recommend this series.
Honestly, I have no idea how this book series got good reviews. The first one was *tolerable* and I read through the second in hopes it would get better. Yikes, y'all. Just yikes. I'm going to see if will refund this, as a matter of fact. That's how much I disliked it. The main female character is possibly bipolar and goes between being aggressive to a blubbering mess fast enough to give the reader whiplash. The main male character is an ass, which I could handle if he'd stick to his guns, but at some point he turns into a sappy mess too. In the middle there's some nonsense history to try to keep some background to the story, but it's boring and goes on and on and on and on... Geez. I wish I could get these hours of my life back.
I enjoyed much of the mythology of this story. It was very interesting in so many aspects, but for me, it became tiresome at times with complication after complication burying the progress of the story. I love mystery, and twists in most stories normally, but I felt tired of plodding through this story at times. It may be my level of intellect that caused me to feel that I was plodding to the end of the story. I don't want to discourage anyone else from reading this book, but for now I'm pausing to decide if it's enjoyable to me to continue with this series. I still give a 4 star rating to the story because I enjoyed the writing enough to finish the story.
This writer is new for me, but a nice surprise. I found that this new take on the werewolf story provides a lot of excitement and action. I found myself caught up with ALL of the characters, and it was hard that not all got happy endings. I struggled with the heroine's behaviour at times because she did a lot of crying, babbling, and dithering about, and that just gets old by the third book. Still, it is a good story, bogged slightly down with details on powers and curses and scant in parts on people's relationships. I will definitely keep on reading, though.
**I previously reviewed each of these books individually...here are some snippets of each review!**
"Hettie Ivers is a new author for me and I'm ecstatic that I picked this book up! The story drew me in from the first paragraph and I found myself reading way into the night. Milena (human) travels to Brazil to find her brother. Instead, she finds herself in the middle of a pack of hot, domineering werelocks and the main Alpha, Alex, insists that Milena is his mate. There's so much detail and character development in this story, I really could picture myself in Alex's mansion!"
"Right after finishing book one, I plowed right through book two! It just gets better and better! The world of werewolves and mystic that Hettie Ivers created is simply fantastical, magical and spellbinding. Book two definitely has more hot, steamy sex scenes, a bit of suspense and a dash of humor. Plus, I adored the secondary characters that managed to enhance an already amazing story."
"It was so good, I couldn't put it down! I was racing to finish it but sad when it ended. Book #3 was definitely the hottest of the three. Despite their differences and their rocky (under statement) past, it's so obvious how Milena and Alex compliment each other. They're like peanut butter and jelly...they just GO TOGETHER! Plus there's so many twists and turns! Again, the secondary characters support the storyline perfectly, they provide even more drama and humor. Not to mention, the various subplots that set us up for more wonderful creations from this world! (Please?!?) I've already added this series to my READ AGAIN e-shelf and can't wait for more werelocks! Entirely told from Milena's POV with a happy for now ending!"
