Review Hooked By Love book three in The Bellvue Bullies series is lets just say was Incredible.
Jace Sinclair youngest of the Sinclair's is in his last year of college and ready to shine and to make all his hard work pay off by becoming an NHL player like his two older brothers. What he doesn't expect is to meet Avery Rose.
Avery Rose a young woman looking to make her way in life to get away from a past that was not so happy and to do finally what she always wanted to be the next up and coming rising star in Nashville., but what she doesn't expect is to meet the Captain of The Bellvue Bullies.
Jace sees Avery leaning up against a tree singing and not only is he taken by her voice he is taken by her beauty and the instant connection is off the charts but sometimes looks can be deceiving and what is in the inside can sometimes not make you see the turmoil.
The one thing for sure is that Jace is so self confident of his emotions when it comes to Avery that all he wants to do is show her what being special means and if fighting for that is what it takes everyone should have a Jace Sinclair in their corner. This is the final book of this incredible series we have met all three brothers and each of them have had a special story of there own but when you read this final book you will say that Toni has scored a HAT TRICK.
If you are looking not just for a book but a series that will have you laughing out loud at times, reaching for the tissues at other times but will most definitely have you saying I wish there was more than this is the one you don't want to miss.

Jace is the final Sinclair to fall in love when he never expected it. He’s kind of a jerk at the beginning of the book and I really didn’t expect to like him as much as I did. But, once he stumbles across Avery all bets are off and he’s suddenly in the same boat as his brothers.

I have to say that while I still love his mom and his sister, his brothers started to tick me off in this book. Jude is entirely too judgmental and Jayden was less than supportive. I know they were just looking out for their little brother, and he is young, but they just came off as hypocrites. I did think that all three of their reactions to their mother’s new dating status and boyfriend was funny and brought a lightness to a book with a lot of dark aspects.

And what is up with Avery’s family? They give dysfunctional new meaning. Avery’s twin is a sociopath and I think that the way he gets away with everything he’s done is a crime. There were overtures made by the rest of the family leading you to believe they could possibly become closer but there’s a lot there to repair. In my opinion Avery is better off without the whole lot of them.

Jace actually surprised me. I expected him to be way more self involved but he manned up and actually supported and protected Avery. Both of them were much more mature than I thought they’d be.

The Sinclair boys are talented hockey players and the Bullies were fun. The series is a nice little detour from the Assassins, but I’m hoping that Lucy brings us back to the Assassin team.
I'm sad to see this series conclude, but what a wild ride!
Jace is the last of the brothers in college. He's also a crazy talented hockey player whom is also expected to go first in the draft. He's not looking for a relationship but he's immediately struck by a voice and attracted to the face/body attached to it.
Avery comes from a hockey family which is why she is in college a long ways away from them. She's in Nashville to make her dream of singing and songwriting a reality. In no way is a man in that equation, particularly one that plays soccer but Jace has a way of making her doubt her walls.
Both Jace and Avery are blindsided by their attraction and it doesn't help that Avery keeps huge things from Jace. Does their relationship have a chance if there's no trust? Can Avery be completely honest with him? Can Jace have the NHL and Avery?
Add in the periphery characters of Avery's and Jace's family and you've got a book with a lot going on...in the best way!
I'm looking forward to learning what's happened with Lucy and Markus in their own separate books. I'm just not ready to let this family go yet!
